Why does it feel like I didn’t do anything at all? (Linden Drive)
2026
Video projection
30 min

Why does it feel like I didn!t do anything at all? (Linden Drive) revisits a work first presented by the artist at Nest, Den Haag, Netherlands in 2020. The projection reconstructs the shifting reflection of light cast into the artist's current workplace at near Linden Drive, a street in Singapore. It is a familiar occurrence that appears each afternoon at around 5 p.m., as the working day begins to draw to a close.

Returning day after day, the projection functions as a quiet marker of time, signalling a moment of transition between labour and rest. Its daily recurrence transforms an otherwise incidental phenomenon into a point of reflection, where feelings of fatigue, uncertainty and anticipation gradually accumulate through repetition.
